DFLP denounces Greenblatts remarks and stresses: Our press will remain faithful to the issues of its people
The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) condemned what was stated by the American envoy to the region, Jason Greenblatt, against the honest Palestinian journalists who are standing by their people in its struggle against the occupation and settlement and for its legitimate national rights.
The Front called on Greenblatt to stop betting on buying the conscience of the Palestinian people, including the journalists and the figures of media, in favor of the "Trump deal", stressing that the figures of media and culture are an inseparable part of the Palestinian people. They presented and are presenting, in the midst of the struggle, sacrifices, martyrs and prisoners. And perhaps the last position of steadfastness of the media men, is their keenness to cover the marches of return and breaking the siege in the Gaza Strip, and the occupation forces intended targeting of them with fire, to silence the Palestinian voice and prevent it from reaching public opinion.
The Front concluded that, as our people has thwarted the call for the Bahrain workshop, it will fail its outcomes, including Kouchner, Greenblatt and David Friedman's bet to attract Palestinian supporters to their liquidating project. ■
