"DFLP": The petition of 200 US Congress is a positive step that we call for strengthening it with projects that are binding on the Trump administration.

The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine considered the position expressed by 200 US congressmen, in a petition to be submitted to the Netanyahu government that rejects annexation, as a positive step, revealing the extent of the violation of the "deal of the century" (Trump - Netanyahu deal) to international legitimacy, as well as revealing the extent of the Trump administration's bias towards the project of the racist Israeli colonial occupation, in its aggressive practices and destructive policies aimed at undermining the legitimate national rights of our Palestinian people, to live in peace, freedom and dignity, over their land and under the sovereignty of their fully sovereign independent state with Jerusalem as its capital on the borders of June 4, 67, and ensuring that the refugee issue is resolved by decisions International legitimacy is at the forefront of Resolution 194, which guarantees them the right to return to the homes and properties from which they were displaced since 1948.

The Front said that what the Hebrew newspaper Haaretz (20/26/2020) published about the petition intended to be submitted to the Netanyahu government with the signature of 200 members of Congress, constitutes a step that we call upon those responsible for it to develop and give it more credibility through draft resolutions in Congress confirming its separation from the Trump-Netanyahu plan and some American policies, including the steps of some Republican administrations (the President Bush’s father’s administration), are restored to a pledge to continue providing aid to Israel by stopping settlement and unilateral measures contrary to international legitimacy resolutions.

The Front also called on the signatories of the petition, especially the Democrats, to develop their position by calling the Israeli occupation to withdraw from the occupied Palestinian and Arab lands by the aggression of the fifth of June in a manner that secures the supremacy of international legitimacy and its binding decisions for all member states of the United Nations.

The Front concluded its statement by calling on Palestinian diplomacy to be free from bureaucratic restrictions and starting towards a more vital policy that interacts with the waves of international support for the Palestinian cause and national rights and pushing for its development in a manner that rises to the required level, and its investment in the comprehensive confrontation of the annexation project and its applications and the policies of the Israeli occupation state, and the isolation of Israel, and delegitimization.
