Boycott Movement (BDS): International Call to Criminalize Dealing with Settlements
Activists of the Boycott Movement (BDS) praised the complaint submitted by the Palestinian Authority to the United Nations against some companies in the UAE that deal directly with the settlements of the illegal Israeli occupation state, such as the Dubai distribution company, FAM Holding, which imported the first shipment on January 10, 2020, of the products of settlement companies such as “Tura Winer” and “Paradise Honey Factory”, which are located in the illegal settlements of “Rahim” and “Harmish”, which reinforces the existence of illegal settlements and contravenes Security Council Resolution No. 2334 regarding the necessity of boycotting settlement products because they are illegal.
Likewise, the boycott campaign in Palestine held a webinar entitled "Prospects for the Turkish-Israeli relationship and its repercussions on the Palestinian issue."
Meanwhile, the boycott movement (BDS) in Palestine called on "Facebook" to remove the censorship on Palestinian content and allow Palestinians to express their views freely.
Activists in the Boycott Movement (BDS) also condemned the signing of an agreement to operate flights between Morocco and the Israeli occupation state, which allowed the launch of 10 flights per week directly between the two countries.
In turn, the boycott movement published Jewish names of Moroccan origins who support illegal Israeli settlements and call for the policy of apartheid and not granting Palestinian refugees their rights. The most prominent of these names are: “Aryeh Deri,” “Amir Ohana,” “Miri Rafif,” “Omar Peretz” Mickey Zohar, Meir Ben Shabat.
For its part, the Moroccan Observatory Against Normalization confirmed that the reopening of the "Israeli Liaison" office is an ominous new phase of institutional and societal penetration.
The boycott movement condemned the cooperation in the field of communications between "Zain" in Bahrain and "Partner" in the Israeli occupation, which includes the use of the fifth generation network.
In a related development, BDS activists appreciated the move by some Bahraini citizens to close bank accounts at the Bahrain National Bank due to its contribution to economic normalization with the banks of the Israeli occupation state.
In the same context, the Boycott Movement (BDS) condemned the opening of the Israeli embassy in Abu Dhabi, as well as the UAE's insistence on opening its embassy in Tel Aviv.
On the other hand, tens of thousands of citizens in Pakistan participated in the "million" march rejecting normalization with the Israeli occupation state, which was organized by the Muslim Scholars Group in Pakistan after news of secret talks between Pakistani officials and officials of the Israeli occupation state.
The Boycott Movement (BDS) also condemned the visit of the Minister of Intelligence of the Israeli occupation state, "Eli Cohen" to Sudan, and his meeting with the Chairman of the Sovereign Council "Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan" and the Minister of Defense "Yassin Ibrahim".
In turn, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ireland, "Simon Coveney," stressed that the settlement activity of the Israeli occupation state is illegal under international law, calling on the Israeli government to stop these activities.
