The Democratic Front condemns the killing of Dweikat by the security forces in Nablus

The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine in the Nablus Governorate condemned the painful incident that took place on Saturday, and the fighter brother, Secretary of the Fatah Movement in the Balat al-Balad, killed Imad Dweikat, was killed by a member of the security services.

On Sunday, the Front called for the formation of a national commission of inquiry, and inflicted the maximum penalties on all those involved in the tragic accident.

The Front demanded a review of the structure and function of the security services, and rebuilding them on professional and scientific grounds that would enable them to properly perform their function in a way that serves the community, and enhances the rule of law and public order and protects the rights and lives of people.

The Front also called on the people of the town of Balat Al-Balad and the Dweikat clan to show restraint and be patient and spirit of national responsibility that we have entrusted to you.

DFLP added: "We offer our condolences to you for this great sadness and this great loss that the national movement has lost in all its political and social spectrum by the departure of the struggling martyr Imad Dweikat."
