Boycott Movement: Events and sit-ins on Earth Day

25 countries around the world participated in the second international student conference rejecting normalization with the Israeli occupation state.

The Moroccan Front for Supporting Palestine and Against Normalization issued a statement on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of Earth Day, in which it affirmed the Moroccan people's rejection of normalization with the Israeli occupation state, and support for the Palestinian people with their inalienable and just rights.

On the other hand, the Moroccan stand of solidarity with the Palestinian people was subjected to the Land Day, which rejected normalization, to the suppression of the demonstrators by the Moroccan security forces by fencing off all the corridors and dispersing the protesters by force.

Also, students of the Tetouan branch in Morocco organized public standings in solidarity with the Palestinian people on the occasion of Earth Day despite the repression of the Moroccan forces.

The Student Renewal Organization at Ibn Tufail University in Morocco carried out a student campaign on the occasion of the "45th anniversary" of Earth Day, in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

For its part, the Tunisian Network to confront the normalization system organized a symposium under the title "All the Land is Palestine ... Normalization is a Crime and Betrayal".

In a related development, a group of activists in the boycott movements organized a stand of solidarity with the Palestinian people, in front of the Parliament in Scotland, demanding the implementation of Resolution 194 on the right of return and rejecting the Israeli occupation state's continued encroachment on the occupied Palestinian territories.

In their turn, activists and solidarity with the Palestinian people in Australia celebrated Palestinian Land Day, raised Palestinian flags, and delivered some words in support of Palestinian national rights.

In the same context, the Boycott Movement - France organized a media campaign in the city of Strasbourg about the struggle of the Palestinian people in their lands for freedom and justice. During the event, the movement called for a boycott of Zionist goods as part of its support for the Palestinian people.

On the other hand, the "Palestine Will Victory League" carried out an awareness campaign in Toulouse, calling for a boycott of the dates of the Israeli occupation state, in solidarity with the Palestinians.

In addition, activists in the boycott movements in Berlin organized a mass stand on the occasion of Earth Day on 30 March to affirm the right to return, in implementation of Resolution 194 issued by the United Nations General Assembly.

While activists in the boycott movements in Sweden revived the "45th anniversary" of Earth Day in the Swedish city of Göteborg.

A group of children and adolescents in the Iranian city of Ramsar took part in a stand of solidarity with the Palestinian people on the occasion of Land Day, during which the participants raised banners in support of Palestinian national rights.

The Palestine Foundation in Pakistan planted trees as a form of solidarity with the Palestinian people and a symbol of Palestinian steadfastness and adherence to their land.
