The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) in Asira al-Qibliya, south of Nablus, commemorated the "Day of the Martyr of the Democratic Front" with a mass march, in which hundreds of villagers participated, and a large crowd of leaders and elements of the Front, and dozens of masked men.

The march started from the center of the village, and the participants chanted national slogans, carrying pictures of the martyrs of the Front.

During the march, a statement was distributed, in which the Front emphasized the path of the martyrs, until freedom, return and the establishment of the Palestinian state.

The statement included an invitation to the parties of the division to start a comprehensive national dialogue, to develop a comprehensive strategy to confront the occupation, and to strengthen the steadfastness of our Palestinian people.

It is mentioned that the "Day of the Martyr of the Democratic Front" coincides with the beginning of June of each year, in June, where members of the Central Committee of the Democratic Front were martyred, Omar al-Qasim, Khaled Nazzal and Bahij Al-Majzoub, and a member of the National Resistance Brigades, the military wing of the Front, Ahmed Yasser Saleh, son of the village of Asira al-Qibliya, who during the storming of the Yitzhar settlement in 2002.
