The 57th report of the boycott department in the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine: Calls to boycott the Expo / Dubai and popular protests for the opening of the Israeli embassy in Manama

Activists in the boycott campaigns valued the statement issued by the Iraqi presidency rejecting normalization with the Israeli occupation state, in which the support of the Palestinian people, their struggle and their inalienable rights in the face of the occupation were emphasized.

Also, activists in the boycott movements valued the withdrawal of the Iraqi Medical Association from a scientific conference on women's health in the Emirates due to the participation of a delegation from the Israeli Medical Association, in refusal to normalize with the Israeli occupation state.

Activists also participated in boycott campaigns with a vigil organized by the national campaign to drop the gas agreement with the Israeli occupation state in Jordan.

While activists in the boycott campaigns called for a boycott of Emirati festivals and the Expo in Dubai, due to the participation of the Israeli occupation state, which practices a policy of apartheid against the Palestinian people.

Meanwhile, activists in the boycott campaigns condemned the visit of the Israeli Foreign Minister, "Yair Lapid" to Bahrain, to the opening of the Israeli embassy in Bahrain, in light of popular anger, demonstrations and protests by Bahraini citizens in refusal to normalize with the Israeli occupation state.

On a related level, the Moroccan Popular Observatory held a symposium entitled "The New Wave of Normalization", to emphasize the Arab peoples' rejection of normalization with the Israeli occupation state in all its forms and types.

In addition, activists in the boycott campaigns in the city of "Liverpool" in Britain organized a vigil against the arms exhibition that will be held in "Liverpool" with the participation of Israeli arms companies that kill Palestinian civilians and children, and contribute to strengthening the Israeli apartheid regime against the Palestinian people.

In the same context, Puma's headquarters in Manchester, Britain, was closed, coinciding with the global campaign launched by the boycott movement due to Puma's support for illegal Israeli settlements.

For their part, activists of the boycott campaigns welcomed the decision of the British Labor Party, which affirms that the Israeli regime is an apartheid regime, and that economic and military sanctions must be imposed on it, in conjunction with the declaration of a Palestinian state.

BDS activists condemned the decision of the Turkish-American National Committee, which considered that the BDS movement encourages extremism and that it must be confronted.
